Osmington update 2019

Day 4

It was our last full day, everyone had slept very well after another day packed with activities and lots of fresh sea air.

Rifle shooting was a real highlight as you can hopefully tell from the pictures, and even some of the staff had a go and hit the target. Abseiling was also good fun and everyone had a good try and challenged themselves.

At lunchtime we went down on the beach and skimmed some stones. The sea was quite choppy and we enjoyed being chased by the waves.

The disco was a lovely end to the week, great music and fab dance moves.

We are looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow

Day 3

We have had such a lovely day down here today, the sea sparkled in the sunshine and we haven’t had any rain. We all did lots of activities on site this morning and particularly enjoyed the trapeze and climbing.

Mrs Peters and Mrs Carter arrived in time for a delicious lunch and then we went up to little Wembley for some football and volleyball in the sun. This afternoon some of us went to the Olympic Sailing Academy in Weymouth and Mrs Peters came too.

After dinner Mrs Peters and Mrs Cook left for home and we had a sports evening, which was great fun.

Looking forward to our last full day tomorrow.
Day 2

We woke to a soggy morning on our first full day but were cheered by a lovely cooked breakfast and lots of toast

We started our activity morning in the rain but mid morning the sun made a welcome appearance. We enjoyed many fun activities and challenges. We ended the day mostly covered in mud from the tunnel challenge, so a trip to the shops and a shower was just wanted we needed.

We are looking forward to welcoming our special visitors tomorrow.

Day 1

We arrived safely at Osmington Bay and have enjoyed our first dinner. Our camp fire was unfortunately relocated to the inside due to the rain. However, it didn’t’ dampen the singing or the story telling, so they have lots of new songs to share with you already.

We stopped at Monkey World on the way, which they enjoyed despite the rain, and this gave them a chance for a good run around.

All are now settled in their rooms and looking forward to a busy day tomorrow.
