During the academic year 19/20, the SA have a full programme of events for fundraising (all events are promoted on the school newsletter, on the parents’ Facebook page and via ParentMail).
Tuck Shop Fridays
On the last Friday of every month, the SA are in the playground selling sweets, chocolates and crisps galore after school - just 50p per item. Tuck shop days for this year: 25 October 2019, 29 November 2019, 31 January 2020, 26 June 2020, 10 July 2020. On the 25th February we will have a special Shrove Tuesday pancake sale.
This year’s Happy Bag collections take place on 24 October 2019, 20 March 2020 and 13 June 2020. If you have any unwanted clothes, shoes (paired), new toiletries or soft toys you want to donate, please take them to the school on these designated collection dates. The donations are then exchanged for cash by the Happy School Bag (http://www.happyschoolbag.co.uk/) company.
This unmissable family event takes place on 7 February 2020 and include Bingo with cash prize, bar, raffle and pizza to order. Tickets for Bingo night must be purchased in advance, but be warned: they always sell fast, so book early to avoid disappointment!
Family Fun Night
On Friday 6 March we host our first Family Ceilidh, a traditional Celtic evening of live music, dancing and socialising, led by the Hogs Back Band. Hot food, tuck shop, games and face painting complete the night.
Quiz Night and BBQ
This fun-packed event is on 15 May 2020. Tickets for Quiz Night must be purchased in advance and include BBQ and salad items – plus the comedy genius of our resident quiz master – Simon Howick. This is the only parent / teacher event we run, it is a great night enjoyed by all.
Two very popular events with our pupils. The Infant Character Disco is on 27 March and it’s open to all St Teresa’s pupils in years Reception-2. The Junior Black and White party is on 12 June 2020 and is open to all St Teresa’s pupils in years 3-6. The events feature a disco, fluorescent face painting and snacks!
The biggest event of the academic year is also the last in our event calendar and takes place on 4 July 2020. Come join in the fun!
