About Us

Details of the School
 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

St Teresa’s Catholic Academy is a Roman Catholic Voluntary Aided Primary School providing education for 337 boys and girls aged 3-11 years.

Pupils are admitted to the Pre-school when they are three or into Reception in the year in which their fifth birthday falls.  The Foundation Unit operates as a single unit, enhancing the learning of the children focusing on their 'stage' rather than their 'age'.

St Teresa’s is different from any other school in Wokingham, because it caters first for the Roman Catholic community in the town.

The school buildings and grounds are owned by the Diocese of Portsmouth.  The school has very close links with the Parish of Corpus Christi, which is on the same site.

Our school is a school within Frassati Catholic Academy Trust. (FCAT) The multi-academy trust was established in 2013, to provide Catholic schools and preschools within the Diocese the opportunity to work in close partnership with each other, enabling the best outcomes for the children and families within our community. To find out more information about the trust, visit their website www.frassati-cat.com
